Mission Butterfly Discussion

-A review of the butterfly metamorphosis and the importance of pollinators and their survival for children age 6 and up and adults. Followed by a discussion on preservation and conservation measures that can be taken to join in on the fight to save our native butterfly species from extinction.

Raising Wings Cram Session

-For adults considering the possibility of raising and releasing butterflies as a hobby. This session offers information, tips and advice from my own personal experiences of raising and releasing butterflies over the past eight years.

-A discussion of nectar and host plants and the necessary elements to attract native butterflies to your yard for hobbyist adults. You will also learn how to get your butterfly garden started and register your butterfly garden as a Monarch Waystation.
